Self-care can take on many forms, one of our favorites is bath time! Nothing allows the stress of the day to melt away like a warm bath, especially if you take the time to add in some salts or essential oils. Self-care can even mean taking a walk down your favorite street, or sitting in your favorite room or chair and reading a book. Whatever brings you joy and allows you to feel completely relaxed, that is what self-care is to you.
Life is too short to not take this time out frequently so you can enjoy little moments here and there. Things can change in an instant and you may not always be granted the same allowances in life so take them when you can. After a self-care session you will be able to approach life fully and whole-heartedly, and when you are able to do this life means so much more. You begin to experience a higher quality of life and notice more nuances and greater detail and enjoy the simple things. You will notice your life is thriving and no longer just hanging in there.
